Jane
Executive Director
LEVIS
Jane chaired the original steering committee that worked to establish Legacy as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit. She served as first President of the inaugural Board of Directors until transitioning into the role of Executive Director in November, 2024. As one of the founders of the ministry she is intimately acquainted with Legacy’s mission and to the vision of women finding hope and strength to change their story. She's been married for over 35 years to James, has three adult children and four beautiful grandchildren.
But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children — with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. Psalm 103:17-18
Katie
Development and Donor Relations Coordinator

Katie graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a B.A. in English. She taught English and Literature classes at Portland High School for five years before becoming a new mom. Over the years, Katie has been involved with various local ministries in grant research and fundraising. Part of Legacy's initial steering committee, Katie helped outline and promote Legacy's new mission to local churches as well as helped oversee the original fundraising campaign for a home. She previously served in a development coordinator position at Care Net in New London for two years. Katie met her husband, Jonny, at Groton Bible Chapel. They have been married for ten years. Together they have two rambunctious and lovable preschoolers, Isaac and Ainsley.
