Our Purpose
Addiction is a massive and heartbreaking problem for thousands of Americans, destroying lives and ruining souls. The crisis is particularly acute for women. The need is great, and throughout our state, these women face a revolving door with no sense of hope. Existing models offer only temporary solutions and not comprehensive recovery in a Christ-centered home. We believe the impact of Legacy will change stories, and the cyclical nature of addiction will be broken as women learn, grow, heal, and re-enter society equipped with biblical knowledge, new skills and habits, and changed hearts.
Our Mission
At Legacy, the Word of God is the authoritative and sufficient source for true healing, lasting transformation, and hope in every area of life. Our program, counseling, and discipleship are rooted in biblical truth, equipping women to grow in faith, apply Scripture, and live out a new story of redemption in Christ.
Program

OVERVIEW
Legacy provides women with a long-term transformation curriculum in a family-like setting. Women establish and build relationship with their Savior through Bible reading, memorization, and meditation. They learn to develop healthy habits and personal responsibility; to fellowship and work together.
Women participate in individual formal biblical counseling. They interact daily with program servant leaders. Prayer, encouragement, and practical help is foundational and ongoing throughout their time at Legacy.
Our gospel-centered curriculum supports heart change and teaches women to apply biblical principles for living as a new creation in Christ.

ACTIVITIES
Residents enjoy daily devotions and weekly book studies, complete house and cottage chores, and maintain the gardens. They engage in hobbies such as art projects, creative writing, hiking, and crocheting. The women plan regular service projects offsite. Continuing education, vocational, and workforce readiness are all important components in helping women develop their gifts and prepare for transition from Legacy.

FAITH
Most importantly, a day at Legacy is a day to serve others as the Body of Christ, rejoice in the Lord and learn to worship Him in spirit and truth, and to find healing, rest, and peace in Christ.
